“This was our first time visiting Bamfield and it is stunning. We felt at home with our stay at the Bamfield lodge. I could not ask anything more from our hosts Shayla and Matt. The lodge was cute and clean and it provided everything we needed to cook our meals and have a super comfy sleep. I also don’t want to forget about our unreal view. We also charted a boat with Matt and he did not disappoint. We limited on our halibut and salmon and got to see some wildlife along the way. We will most definitely be returning to the lodge!”

“This is the second time staying at the Bamfield lodge. The beds are very comfortable, everything was clean and organized. The kitchen area is fully stocked with dishes, cooking spices and all the basics to cook your own meals. We spent 2 days fishing, we added the fish packing and processing to our accommodation package . Highly recommend the fish packing service, they use high quality vacuum sealer bags to preserve your catch. Overall the service is second to none, definitely will continue booking our trips at the lodge in the years to come.”

“Our stay at the Bamfield Lodge was nothing short of perfect and idyllic. It was such a great spot for our mixed family group to come (2 kids, parents, younger aunt/uncle couple) - there was an endless supply of activities for all ages and interests. We stayed in the "Halibut House" Main Lodge. It was ideally located on the Bamfield boardwalk, close to everything and everyone, with an amazing view of the water and inlet. It was also very clean, so cozy and comfortable, and had all the amenities and supplies we needed. The staff went above and beyond to help us and ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. They were very quick to respond, recommended awesome activities for us, and helped us make the most of our time in Bamfield. We will definitely be back and want to thank Shayla, Matt, Marcella and all the Bamfield community members for the great experience!”

“Having visited Bamfield fishing since 1980 I’ve watched its slow evolution. Bamfield Lodge is a unique spot on West Coast Vancouver Island . The staff of the lodge are incredibly friendly and accommodating . The lodge itself is clean and extremely comfortable .Great mooring , water access and serviced by water taxi from across the inlet . If you fish they will process your catch professionally . I would highly recommend Bamfield Lodge for a visit if a memorable trip is on your “bucket list “ . Pat”

“Amazing stay at the New Bamfield Lodge. We rented the large Cabin, sleeps 4-6. Great hosts and staff, super clean and everything you need is there, right down to nice wine glasses which is an essential when sitting on the outside covered deck with couch!! Great view, brand new dock and ramp for easy access, allowing the water taxi to drop you right at the door ( Inlet express, runs a great covered taxi service , essential in the rain) Once settled in, need something and Staff are there in minutes, comfy beds and ample sized rooms, kitchen is well stocked with all equipment. We’ll be booking again!! 4th year in a row in Bamfield and this was hands down the best location we have stayed in yet”
